Two in the 1st and 3 in the 5th and 2 more in the 6th and Gerrit Cole on the mound allowed the Yanks to CRUISE in this one — up 7-1 thru 6.
Cole tired in the 7th allowing 2 runs but the Yankee bullpen of Luis Avilan (who?), Chad Green and Brooks Kriske (who?) were up to the task with 2.1 shutout innings to end the game, 9-3 NY.
DJ LeMahieu went 4-5 with a homer, and Aaron Judge went 2-3 with 2 RBI, 3 runs scored and a homerun. Aaron Hicks hit a homer as well.
Yanks are now 3-1 to start the season.
